The vehicles are all between 5-15 years old, but are all well maintained, clean and fulfil all governmental inspections and safety standards. By offering “experienced” cars, CheapJeep is able to keep its rental prices at minimum.

CheapJeep’s rental office is located in downtown Reykjavik, but if you arrive in Keflavik Airport do not worry - the airport shuttle stops right outside our office.

You will be in charge of place and pace, independent of bus schedules and pre-planned whereabouts. Whether you want to do the Golden Circle, go to Landmannalaugar or cruise along the South coast CheapJeep will be the cheaper alternative to most tour operators.

Many of the ordinary car rental companies have strict restrictions on mileage and which roads you are allowed to drive. CheapJeep offers unlimited mileage and allows the drivers to drive on all roads and tracks, only dependent on vehicle type and a few general safety guidelines.

Even the best of cars break down but you need not to worry. All of CheapJeep's cars are inspected on regular basis and in case of an emergency the company offers roadside assistance where they either fix your car on the spot or bring you a replacement vehicle so you can continue your adventure in Iceland as quickly as possible. It should however be kept in mind that the recovery period depends on your location and distance from Reykjavik or one of CheapJeep’s partners across the country.
